This document is the codebook and data set description for the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor Adult Population Survey (APS) data sets covering 1998 to 2003. It documents the harmonised APS files - variable definitions and coding, country and year coverage, and the construction of the core GEM measures - so that researchers can work with the pooled individual-level data on entrepreneurial attitudes, intentions and activity.
