This report provides information that can guide efforts aimed at equipping Albertans with the capabilities they need to launch and run their businesses and to provide guidance to policy makers to facilitate environments in which these ventures can thrive. The analysis is based on data collected in Alberta in 2025 as part of the Canada adult population survey (APS) using the methodology of the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) Consortium.
