The level of total early-stage entrepreneurial activity declined for the population, the youth and seniors in 2019 - 2021. The decline was most pronounced in the youth population (more than 10 percentage points), then in the adult population (almost 7 percentage points) and finally in the seniors' group of the population (2 percentage points). The decline in total early-stage entrepreneurial activity in 2021 was mainly due to a significant decline in nascent entrepreneurship and a slight decline in new entrepreneurship.
