How are entrepreneurs integrating environmental, social, and stakeholder considerations into their strategies and operations? To what extent are entrepreneurs contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)? How are entrepreneurs balancing profit-making with responsible business practices?
These and other questions were discussed during our 25 March webinar in which we laucnhed the new report Sustanability and Entrepreneurship: Awareness and Actions. Panellists were Maya Dougoud, Professor at the School Management Fribourg and a member of GEM Switzerland, and Cesare Riillo, Senior Researcher in STATEC's research division and the Team Leader for GEM Luxembourg (both Maya and Cesare are report co-authors). Daniel Nowack, Head of Social Innovation at the Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship and the World Economic Forum, also shared perspectives, while GEM Executive Director Aileen Ionescu-Somers moderated the webinar.
